Good morning

Good evening folks.

Been an unseasonably warm day today upwards of 62* for the high, which is much better than it has been. We've had snow and ice and 20* temps for the last 5 weeks. I've been ready for a little break between shivers.

Glad y'all are all doing well.

It has been beautiful here too, and I am planning a fishing trip in a few days.

I might even get to go shooting.

Also monkeys might fly out of my butt. I expected a lot more cold rainy weather to work in the garage on my motorcycle, and that didn’t happen this year.

It has been lovely almost every day this month and it never got below freezing once. There was maybe a little lite frost on the tile roof.

Now that I’ve got all my stuff exposed where I can start working outdoors, I hope it doesn’t change suddenly.

Good morning Mossberg Owners.

Everything went very well. It was one of those experiences where there was not one hose, screw or wire to hang things up.

I wish we could so easily extract the pharma business from our tax dole. As soon as the govt starts handing them money, the actual honest science becomes less important than to keep getting all the money.

This is why the money should not come thru elected politicians. They can’t pull the plug without looking evil to the voters. After all, it’s not even their money!

Investors have no such problem when they sell off a bad company.

That is how the free market works, and every time govt sticks their fingers in it, WE get the bill for their folly.

Well, I took a break from the cars yesterday to do some recycling, and clean my aquariums. It is warming and sunny, so today is a lovely day to roll my chassis out and cut it up. I am not quite settled on the frame design yet though.

I have to do things in an order where the car comes out straight, instead of banana shaped from weld draw.

You all have a nice day.

Good morning Mossberg Owners.

Yesterday was very warm, so I got out and washed my truck. I fiddled around with the boat. I went grocery shopping and cooked a big dinner.

But no progress on the car.

I am stalling on the welding right now. I am not 100% happy with my design decisions.

You all have a lovely Saturday.

The gun that America loves.

Now, I understand why.

Well, actually, I've known for a while. Despite that I have never owned one. I really need to change that.

It’s such an easy pistol to service.

I just was really happy when I bought mine. It’s just a $600 Filipino-made pistol I tuned up, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything made of advanced high-tech polymer.

A real 1911 combat model feels like a substantial machine in your hand. Even the shorty officer’s model is a solid piece.

Any Glock, by comparison, feels like a kitchen gadget you’re not allowed to put in the dishwasher.

Happy Valentine’s Day Mossberg Owners!

We goofed off today and went out for a nice lunch. Then we bought some stuff at the hardware store to fix our fence.

My stalling is over for now. I have come up with a plan of attack for the Volkswagen that will get me by the next few days. I was planning to go fishing tomorrow but it looks like I’ll be dropping the engine.

I have a bunch of heavy stuff to move around. Fortunately a lot of it’s on wheels.

Which reminds me... My armorer in Georgia has a dishwasher that he put all the Glock parts into for a thorough cleaning.
He has retired from the Police Department and now works for Glock.

Good morning. Yesterday afternoon we had a temp of 70. This morning we were down to 30. Between midnight (61 degrees) and 7 am (30) we had thunderstorms , snow, which melted immediately, and the wind died down. Quite the change.

Have a great day.

We're under a wind warning today. Sustained 70mph winds (not gusts) are forecast. Yesterday evening was windy too.

Temps have warmed up quite a bit, which indicates that there's a front moving in from the gulf, which usually brings storms.

There was a ring around the full moon last night, which tells me we're going to get some accumulation. Don't know if it'll be yet more snow or rain this time. The ground was warm enough the snow we got last melted off of the ground as soon as it landed, but bridges and porch railings and the BBQ grill and such did hold some snow for a while up in the air where it wasn't insulated.

I took a picture of the ring around the moon last night, but will have to wait until later this evening to post it because I don't have access to the camera at this moment. But, it's kind of a nice picture I think anyway. I enjoy taking pictures like that.
