    Got it out. Guess I thought it would be more difficult and was concerned about damaging the mag tube during the prying. Thanks for your reply

    Hey guys I have a 930 waterfowl (4+1). The only post that I could find about removing the mag spring and follower never got a good answer. The poster ended up prying the retainer out. Did Mossberg not make the retainer so that it could be removed and reinstalled?
