Mossberg 144 us

Hi, I have the opportunity to get the 144 US from a friend of a friend. I checked out the gun, the stock is in good condition, it has the redfield sights and the round hooded sight on front. It has a "P" marking on the barrel and US XXXX serial number. No magazine. He's asking $299. Is that a good price?

If it isn't a doctored stamp you made a super buy , in recent yrs there has been many faked stamps as the prices climbed . Ck here for info http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=403468 ~~MM~~

the 44US aren't hard to find but the 144US are a bit scare ,guys aren't selling 'em ~~MM~~
