.22 Hornet

Looking for info on a Mossberg Bolt action rile in a .22 Hornet. Guessing it to be made in the 40's.
It has box mag and a vintage Mossberg scope( 3/4 tube X abt 15"). I haven't been able to find one in any of the gun books.
