Im Trevor and I live in southern Dallas County. I just recently bought my first shotgun: a 500 (50577) 20" 8 shot. I haven't had a chance to get out to a range yet to try it out though. the city here isn't too keen on firing them in the city limits. I do believe there's an exception for protecting one's property, including animals, and there's a rather large pack of coyotes yipping it up about 100 yards from me as I type.

I'm a native Texan myself, born Arlington and raised all over the DFW area. Hangin my hat in Tennessee now, but Texas will always be my home. We've got a great group of folks here on Mossberg Owners and the atmosphere is very laid back. The only thing we like better than discussing each other's guns is lookin at 'em, so be sure to post up some pics of your new 500 and any other firearms you own in the various sub-forums. :lol: Neither do I, but I do it anyway! :D Kinda like singin, I totally suck, but I dont let that stop me from spreading the joy! ;)

I have a 20" Persuader too... and coyotes! Fine shotguns!!! Good luck with the yotes and welcome to Mossberg Owners!!!
