Bolt Action Rifles

    Not a good pic, but that's my only bolt gun right now:

    A Savage MK-II .22LR with 18" bull barrel & accutrigger. Black on black on black.

    That's the new Leupold Rifleman Gold Ring VDX-11 9-48x60 scope I traded my Porsche for...:p

    The scope is a 3-9x50mm Tasco, for $50 from Walmart. :rolleyes: Once the grandkids get their own guns, I'll probably buy a Leupold for it, but not while they're training.

    This is a really accurate gun for the price, but the hollow plastic stock is so light I filled it with sand and lead to balance out the barrel weight.

    I found that it is more practical to fill the buttstock with 22LR ammunition.

    Balances out rather nicely, and is always near the gun ;)
