Can a shotshell be made to a blank?

That's right. Why I liked old cars but they're getting scarce. I had my 2003 Taurus since 2008 and only 91K on the clock now. I'm sure it's something simple that's needed to fix but what ??

Right now I'm pulling the battery cable to reset the ECM and it'll run ok for a while til the CEL comes back on. Yeah, cheap fix for now.

autozone and advance auto parts will put a code reader on it at no charge. you stated you cant pull a code, is it not giving one, or do you not have a scanner or code reader?

It's not giving one. They said my socket is bad because their reader works.
