cleaning pulldown projectiles

Just an FYI to the reloaders here, if you get pulldown bullets (cause youre a cheap a$$ like me) they clean nicely in a vibratory tumbler with the plain white sand that can be picked up at the local home improvement joint. Its 6 bucks for 50 LBS i think. I figured this out in a discussion with a guy on another forum. I had it on hand because i sandblast with it. They dont come out brand new shiny, but it removes all the dirtiness from pulldown and bulk packaging. Also doesnt load up in hollow points, or open tips.

I had used mineral spirits or kerosene when my pulldowns had tar goo on them. I'll try this trick next time.
