Hopefully this isn't a repost. I've been staying away from forums and social media since the shooting so I don't piss anyone off ;). This is a great article with lots of info in it from someone on the political left. The TL;DR version: "assault rifles" are categorized by form and not function, and the ban on high capacity magazines wouldn't have stopped the Virginia Tech shooting from happening. I'm glad we have this guy on "our" side :).
