What with the grip inserts available in Glocks and M&P's now, I'm not sure if these are needed, but Pachmayr makes them for other pistols, too.

I remember guys using the slip-on Pachmayr "boots" years ago on their issued Glocks because the Hogue 'Hand-All' boots would sometimes slip around a bit during recoil until the finger grooves were out of alignment. The old style Pachmayr boots were just a simple tube with no finger grooves, and if they shifted a tiny bit during recoil it made no difference the next time you grabbed and gripped the weapon.
Pachmayr may have improved things by tailoring their boots to specific weapons. I ordered one for my Beretta 92 just to see how it fits. Anyway...Cabela's has them on sale.
