This phenomenon really strikes me as odd. Why advertize one of your specific rounds being available for a reduced price, if it's also on back order? It would seem apparent that you sure didn't need to offer a reduced price. I'm sure it's related to the current high demand for ammo, but gee whiz. I see it on more and more vendor sites. Yes, the price is reduced, but no it isn't on the shelf. :?: Take care. Tom Worthington.

My question would be whether or not is was on backorder before the sale started?

If it was, then that's pretty poor of seller. It could be just a quick sellout but they will continue to honor the sale even though it sold out.
