Nothing particularly tricky about, just adjust til you hit where the dot points. Unlike other types of sites, it should not matter whether or not the dot it centered in the lens.
If you sight it in at, say, 25 yards, you will be very high at 50 yards. I would get it sighted at whatever maximum distance you feel you might encounter.
you want to follow the hole with the dot to dial it in. hitting left of the point of aim then move the dot to the left to bring it closer to the point of aim
