I Create Custom Sheathes and Handles (Pics)

I enjoy customizing Mora clippers with unique handles and sheathes. I use Mora because their blades are legendary in the bushcraft community for their durability and low price point. However, they are blank canvases asthetically.

Here are a few pics.

Here is my Mora desktop mod. It's made entirely of oak with 7 coats of tung oil. This model has a partial tang, so the second copper pin functions only to assist with keeping the two halves of the handle in place

This is another Mora 840 MG with a very thick, 6-layer leather sheath. The center later is hollowed in order to allow the blade to travel smoothly in and out.

Here is a Tramontina (Brasil) machete that my brother brought back from Haiti. It didn't have a sheath, so I created this one from a bag of leather remnants. With the remaining leather I put a hat together. Total investment was like 7 bucks.

Here is a quick Mora S2 mod to make it wearable as a neck knife with snap fastener.

Here is a short video of a Mora S2 that I did some major overhauling of in order to meet my specific needs...
