I picked up an old Mossberg 479SBC in .35REM this week and I am trying to tear it down due to the cartridges feeding back under the loading gate. I assume it has some type of cartridge cut off that must be worn. I removed the lever and the bolt but the floor plate is stuck tight, I don't want to force it so I'm looking for help, any trick to it? Thanks.
