Mossberg 500 Pattern

I decided to give a model 500 a try using the new Speed Ball Waterfowl load by Hevi-Shot. This was a 35yd shot at a 12in circle(That I usually use for waterfowl loads 10" for Turkey). The barrel was a 24in, with a Hevi-Shot Mid Range Waterfowl choke. This test was with 3in #3shot. The hole from the wad can be seen at the top.

I love pattern tests and thats a respectable pattern for sure!

Thank you. I pushed the yardage back a tad from the normal "Mid Range". I was just curious to see what the extra speed of these shells could do. I am happy with the results

Heck yeah! I'd be happy with patterns like that all day long!
