What forearm and stock will fit it want put wood on it

Welcome to the forum from Florida.

Any 500 12or 20 ga stock will fit your Maverick 88.

You have a "pinned" forend, in order to put a wood forend on you will need to buy the action slide along with a wood forend.

You also need to get the same size for both.

If you mean will a OEM Mossberg forearm fit a Mossberg 88 of the same gauge and size/shape...

That is an affirmative...

Once you start getting into other " aftermarket " manufacturers...you should ask their Customer Service

Just in case you are getting confused,,,I know I did when first dealing with forends,,,,give the Havlins a call. They should have forends and action slide tubes in stock. Just tell'em you have a pinned forend.
