Software? If its what I'm thinkin, this forum is BB software.

This forum is phpBB. I have no idea what the difference is. There's a forum I frequent that is looking for a MyBB guru/webmaster help. They are looking into giving a member mod control of a single topic, without giving full mod access. And you know me...always tryin to help somehow.

Mod controls are usually specific to a forum or sub-forum. Never even heard of MyBB, but I've been out of that side if stuff for a while. There may be someone that could mod the software, if one doesn't exist already, to do what your looking for. Otherwise, the user will have to have at least mod control for that section.
