Recommendations Deer slugs

Any recommendations for the best slugs for deer hunting, never hunted deer with shotgun before, only 30-06. Someone gave me Remington AccuTip 385 grain Bonded Sabot slugs. Just purchased the Mossberg 500 Trophy Hunter Slug Shotgun.

Accutips will be fine. Brenneke http://www.brennekeusa.com/cms/ , makes what many consider to be the best slugs on the market. You will be able to shoot both sabots and rifled slugs with your rifled barrel. A lot depends on what your gun likes, so you may want to get a couple boxes each of different brands and compare them for accuracy, etc. at a range.

Most all slugs are only good up to 100yds or so, so that will be the biggest difference from your 30-06.

Slugs are a little hard to find on the shelf these days, so you might have to order thru your local shop and wait a few weeks for any brand.

I bought Brenneke 12gauge 2 3/4" Green Lightning a couple weeks ago for deer and hog.
