Town in Georgia requires citizenry to own a firearm

Link to the story above. Kind of glad to see a city council actually think with their brain for a change and advocate the second amendment. Wish more communities would adopt this logic instead of trying to strip folks of their rights.

Kennesaw GA has similar laws and they have an violent crime rate that is about %80 less than the national average the last I checked. There's something you don't see in the news.

Some guy in Colorado or Arizona is beginning the process to arm residents with shotguns (to start) that normally couldn't afford to purchase them. His hopes are that the criminals in the area will come to realize that more residents will have a firearm in the home specifically meant for HD and that it will deter them.

Pretty neat concept but I foresee some form of interception by the ATF or Gov't to stop him before he gets to start this,
