Call me old fashioned, but I really like wood on any firearm, I just done a quick refinish on this newly acquired 835 using a birchwood casey kit, even a little walnut stain.

Noting wrong with Tac guns but me personally I wouldn't convert a 'field' especially if has nice furniture on it, also, advertised here are ready out of the box Tactical 500's "just me I'm not against it at all"

@ripjack13 Seems like a good sturdy mount. Had to customize the ejector screw.
I will know for sure when it warms up and I get to the range.
