Worth it to convert 20 " a1 to 18.5 590?

So here is my situition. I have a 20" 590a1 along with a 18.5 in 590a1 ( am am not touching the 18.5 a1, leaving it as is). I am interested in configuring or purchasing a lighter version (non double wall barrel) of the 590 in 18.5. The 20" barrel is nice but just not functional for me as a light HD or truck gun. I was trying to decide if I should sell the 20" 590a1 and purchase one of the new 590 (non a1) 7 shots in 18.5 or just try and order a 590 (non a1) 18.5 in barrel and 5 shot magazine tube from mossberg and convert my 20" to a light 18.5. Any thoughts?

Old Mossy, that is also a good idea. I'm trying to stay with the quick clean out version of mag tube that the 590 and a1 provides. Just trying to decide if I should swap entire guns or just swap barrel and mage tube.

My 2 cents. Sell the 590A1. One mans trash is another mans treasure. Then buy what you want!
