Common feeding problem?

Hello Doc,
Just watched the video and the shooter stated that it was only an issue with that one particular mag. He also thought he might have been "short stroking" the bolt. Even he wasn't sure if it was mag related of user error. Looks like the other mags cycled fine though, so I'd lean toward a mag issue.
Either way, like any other magazine fed firearm the mags can be a definite weak spot in operation. Don't have an MVP, but the most common issue I run into with new bolt gun mags in my rifles are improperly spaced feed lips, new springs with too much tension, and very once in a while you'll get one that needs a little extra polishing inside the mag body. Either issue can be sorted out relatively easily, but mag related feed issues are definitely common...
