Rifled chokes or rifled barrel?

Was wondering if anyone here has experience with rifled chokes and or barrels and what was your thoughts on the two?

I just recently picked up a deer/turkey Mossberg 500 and have only hunted deer with muzzleloader so a rifled barrel shotgun is new to me. Any insight/suggestions would be immensely helpful.

I don't have any experience with a rifled shotgun barrel or chokes but I believe you will get the best results with a sabot slug as opposed to a "rifled" slug that you would shoot out of a smooth bore barrel. This article explains it a little better than I can... LINK

Thanks for the link. That helped explain things and I think I am gonna stick with the rifled barrel.
