[Diesel Buckshot]

I have a old 183K 3in chamber. Can I shoot 2 1/2 in shells in this gun? I thought I could but then some friends said no and some said yes, now I am second guessing myself :? Any help appreciated

Welcome aboard!

Typically the longer chambers are "backwards compatible" so to speak, so as long as you dont go any longer than 3" you should be fine. If you'd like a definitive answer, give the folks at Havlin Sales a call...

... just found an original product card for the Mossberg 183k, also sold as the New Haven 183T...



This clearly states that the firearm is rated for both 2 1/2" and 3" shells...
