Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit for G20/21

I decided I wanted to give it a try since there was one FS locally.
It's not a bad looking little kit.
It comes with one 10 round magazine, cleaning rod, jag, oil, the like.

After giving it a similar spa treatment as the G20 I didn't like the way they finished the metal for the barrel, it's stainless steel.

It may be hard to tell but there is quite a bit of tooling marks left, most of which will rarely be seen, but I thought I would clean it up a tad...

I smoothed the finish on the barrel as well, but could I leave it at that?!?
Hell NO!

The top piece is the ejector and of course the bottom is the typical Glock firing pin.
I'm hoping to try it out soon, which I will try my best to give a proper range report.

Not too shabby looking, the rear sight is adjustable and look like typical Glock white sights.

It's always nice to have a "dual" caliber pistol around.

I bought a 9mm conversion barrel/mag for my springfield xd40 and have shot it more this year than the 40.

I'm a jeweler by trade, so polishing is second nature.
I'm excited to get out and try it, my son wants to go as well, yesterday was the bowling pin shoot at our closest range, it's a zoo there with only 12 stations to shoot at.

Well, I finally got off my butt and hit the range with this conversion kit.
I put about 40 rounds through it without a hickup, Even with the Remington bulk pack .22lr.

Not anything earth shattering, It was cold out, I was wearing gloves and I had just finished 5.5mile run.

This is the first magazine.

Second went a little better.

Yes that white stuff is snow.
I am pleased with it, I am still getting acquainted with my G20 as well, so hopefully more practice, warmer weather and what not will improve over time.
