^ That's actually quite common.

Many folks with shotguns can be quite destructive to target stands when they're actually aiming, not to mention when their shooting from the hip with a PGO...

The one range I am a paying member at does have separate ranges for Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun.
They don't want slugs at the Skeet/Turkey Load Ranges and they don't want Skeet/Turkey on the Pistol Ranges. I don't know why you would shoot Skeet/Turkey at a 25yd pistol range but it must have been done at some point....

Rifle Range is Measured 500yds (Gongs at 100, 150, 200, 250, etc, etc...)
Pistol Range is 25yd (Mine belt target holder)
Shotgun Skeet Range is 100yd (Supply your own target and MUST remove your trash)
