Broken piston ring

So I was reassembling my piston last night, and the inner ring broke.

Guessing it was cracked or had a weak point. I really wasn't putting that much pressure on it.

Is Mossberg the only option in ordering a new piston!

I emailed him this morning at 6:30, he just emailed me back. Sending new piston assembly free of charge. Now that's customer service

I'll second that - a couple of weeks ago, I emailed Joe Z requesting a replacement top rail screw that popped out of my Blackwater SPX and within a few days he sent me two top rail screws AND a ghost ring screw .....just in case. He has always been quick to respond and is a shining star for Mossberg CS and Maverick Arms. Wish S&W had one like him!
