JM Pro 930 steel ring from gas system

Today I disassembled JM Pro 930 for cleaning and small steel rind dropped from gas piston cylinder.
I am not sure how to put it back.
Could you please let me know how to put it back?
Definitely not part of piston, could be somewhere in heavy spring assembly.

That's an inner seal ring from the piston assembly. Here's a thread from a member that has the same issue, post #7 shows where the ring is supposed to go...

Yea that's a pretty simple fix. Just spread the split part and slide it back over the piston gas ring deal.
