Learned something today:
I was shooting my 930 SPX with crappy low brass, low recoil 7.5 (mine chews right thru these), and I got a feeding jam. So I turned the safety on, layed the gun on its side and had to jiggle and force the bolt back.
I then went about clearing the jam from the receiver and just as I was removing the shell, the bolt released and slammed home right on my thumb nail as my thumb was pressed near the barrel. Ouch!
I didn't swear out loud. I just held my thumb and thought to myself, "you deserved that a-hole, let that pain sink in!"
