Newbie here looking for some help

First of all, a big hello to everybody and thank you for letting me in here, I can already see there's a lot of interesting stuff in this forum.

Now, as the subject says, I'm a bit of a newbie to sg and just got my 590 and is equipped with a just a bead sight. I was thinking to get myself an open red dot sight since I'll be using this sg for dynamic shooting. What do you guys suggest? Maybe there's something out there at a good low price that you know of?

Hi and welcome to MO!

I had used a red dot at one time, but it had a very tall profile and was uncomfortable to use it as I had intended.

My experience says look into something with a low profile, like the SightMark, Primary Arms, Burris, and that Bushnell TRS 25 looks promising! A micro red dot sight (MRDS) or something with a low profile should be reasonably comfortable for you!
