Report on a Springfeild Armory Mag.

Just got a Springfeild Armory 10 round mag for my 308 patrol and it looks like it's going to work out well. It fits the gun at least as good or better than the factory mag that I have to work very hard to get 10 round into. Haven't shot it yet but it cycles the rounds much better the the factory mag also. A side benefit is that is made just a little different and gives about .040 in more clearance in front of the bullet for longer loads if I choose do do so. Midways product # for this is 582402.

Thanks for the insight. Especially that the Springfield will accomodate a longer bullet.

I appreciate the quick review. Good to know the SAI magazine is going to work well for you. They are nice albeit expensive.

Checkmate Industries makes some really, really fine magazines for the M1A/M14 rifle. Probably the best currently being manufactured.
