"I asked because your choice of words and style of speaking came across to me much like somone trying to get a rise out of people."
Really? Is there an approved profile for that? "Choice of words and style of speaking" sounds kind of like a vague, half formed excuse for pushing the ban button because gun boards are supposed to be the exclusively preserves of Republicans for Rmoney.
Hardly. Not sure what gun forums you frequent, but there are a lot of people who do not like Mitt Romney.
Myself included.
But I like him better than Obama.
Or maybe I should say I dislike Romney less than I dislike Obama would be a more appropriate description.
I knew that Obama was trouble as soon as I heard that he was nominated.
Have you ever heard anything from his book "Dreams from my Father".
Have you not seriously looked into his past and upbringing and background in general?
Very disturbing stuff.

Good thing all his background papers were sealed. I still think most of what he says are lies, and most of what he does is unconstitutional and against the American people.
That's why I cannot and will not vote for him.
With as many screw ups that he has done in the last 4 years at the risk of losing his job, I could only imagine the mess that he would leave us in with no risk of losing the next election.
I don't even want to imagine it.

I think the whole internet troll things been over done. It's little more than an excuse to ban anyone that doesn't toe the strict party line now days. You can Ban me Mike, but you can't force me to respect the joke of a Presidential ticket they've rolled out.
I don't remember him trying to force you to vote for anyone. Just merely stating his mind, just like you did.
My late Dad used to have a saying.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
I blame a great deal of the delusional state Republicanism is experiencing, on moderator controlled conservative boards, that have weeded out all dissenting voices to the point of becoming hot house echo chambers. Where everyone has exactly the same opinion of the issues and they are shocked when the big wide world beyond their highly focused internet hive produces results they never imagined possible. The Dem's are just as guilty of this if not more so. It's a symptom of the internet interest group world we live in.
Again, I'm not a moderator here, but I do not blame internet forum moderators for the condition of this country. I blame that solely on the elected officials who write and pass and sign for the laws we must follow.
And I also blame a lot on special interest groups and lobbyists and payoffs and the media and even the Judicial Branch for a lot of the problems we face.
Heck, I blame it on just about everyone.
But I can't say with a straight face that I blame any of it on any mossberg forum moderator for the shape we're in.
If you really want to point fingers, in the end, it's still the elected officials who have the final say in the decisions/votes so they are responsible for their own actions.
So, I just cannot agree with your point that it's a small gun forum moderators fault. That statement made me chuckle out loud.
So the next time I hear someone say it's Bush's fault, I'm going to raise up out of my chair and scream "Awhh hell no ! It's all MikeD's fault."
MikeD, expect a phone call tonight from Georgey Worgey thanking you for finally sharing the blame and clearing his name because it's not all his fault no more.
