Tech Sights on 702

Tech Sights are NICE.
Installation is extremely easy.
I have to get some medium Loctite to finish it.
I removed the original Rear sight. Leaves holes but gives a cleaner profile.

The Rear Sight locks onto the Rail and needs a small spanner to tighten it down.
Probably smart to get their adjustment tool.

I will report back when I actually shoot it....but the SIGHT PICTURE is excellent.
As in you can actually see small targets at long range.

Looks good in the pic...how's it shoot with the new sights !?

I'll do a range report....trying to shoot this week.
Will probably only be. 50' range though.
Will use tiny targets.

The great things already though:
Easy to sight with both eyes open.
I'm able to intelligently sight WAY smaller targets than with the stock front.
I'm doing Dryfire drills with scaled down Appleseed AQT Targets.
Simulated 300 Yard targets.

Sight adjustments have detented knobs and are fine.
One 'click' is only 5/8 of an MOA

Got to shoot today.
I'm still learning how to hold properly and use a Sling.
Need to experiment with the positioning of the Rear Sight still.

I'm having a hard time getting the rear sight locked onto the Rail.
The adjusting tool they sell doesn't fit the Locking nut (dumb) but it does adjust the sights.

All that said, you can sight very small targets with these sights.
I am not consistent with precision shooting but I hit a lot of DEAD CENTER bullseyes from 50' aiming at 1" to 2" targets today. But I couldn't hold a 10 round group tighter than 1.75" (Standing with a Hasty Sling).

Once I learn how to hold still....The sights will do their part.
Then I will get a smaller Aperture and a narrower Match Front Post.

Turning your body into a solid shooting platform is always a challenge. Have you been focusing on your breathing cadence as well, shooting at the natural pause between breaths? Controlling your breathing will lower your heart rate and further stabilize your stance. It's amazing how much your heartbeat alone can move your entire body...

Yes, I just don't have my 'structure' down yet.
Doing lots of Dryfire sighting.
No need to waste ammo.
I can tell when I am locked in and when I'm not
