At least according to the new report by the prognosticators at the UN IPCC. Real Old Testament stuff. Of course, our only salvation is to reduce our present standard of living back to pre-industrial levels, including population. :roll: :roll:

Starvation, poverty, flooding, heat waves, droughts, war and disease

The report says scientists have high confidence especially in what it calls certain "key risks":

—People dying from warming- and sea rise-related flooding, especially in big cities.

—Famine because of temperature and rain changes, especially for poorer nations.

—Farmers going broke because of lack of water.

—Infrastructure failures because of extreme weather.

—Dangerous and deadly heat waves worsening.

—Certain land and marine ecosystems failing.

What is the defining characteristic of a zombie? I suggest it's not body parts falling off, or an insatiable hunger for living tissue. But rather a complete absence of independent thought. They are governed by a mindless herd instinct that is impervious to rational and logical thinking, and does not encompass imagination or other higher brain functions. Their entire existence is centered on themselves. As such, they are easily manipulated and distracted, and even more easily disposed of.

They contribute nothing, and destroy and contaminate everything they come in contact with.

But they look like ordinary human beings.
