Enough Scope Clearance?

Do you think there is enough scope clearance or do you think the rail will bang up on the scope?

Should be fine. They're not touching.

Nor should they when the gun is being fired.

As long as you can get a good sight picture and cheek weld, the lower over the bore, the better.

The scope I have on my FAL is so low, I can't fit the scope cover on the front of it.

I ground off half the plastic on one patch of the scope cover, for my new rifle. There was only about 0.050" clearance.

Unfortunately it was the only scope I had that wasn't busy at the moment.
It's a Chinese Tasco and it's really only suitable as a ring alignment tool for setting up better scopes.

Anyhow I was worried about this too from a standpoint of the heat from the barrel. Then again this is not an automatic.

It'll be alright.

I also trimmed my front lens cover on the Fal. Used a grinder and made a notch.
