Got an unusual problem. Bought an sa-28 turkey. Shooting tss reloads. The shells have been tested and are under saami max but the slow powder I'm using for the heavy load is over gassing the system. I need the port size decreased. This seems to be a rare situation in shotguns as I can't find any info on decreasing them. Most just buy a diff barrel designed for magnum loads but that's obviously not an option.
Prefer to drill and tap the ports and use bushings to tune it if that's possible. Kind of like a vent liner on a smokeless muzzleloader. There's 2 ports and they measure roughly .113. This will be the only load I'll ever shoot in it. Any gunsmiths yall can recommend? I've tried contacting a few but none have gotten back.
