I suppose I was just so happy to find this forum that I posted in Serial Numbers and Patriot first. That me Arsre backwards, Joined because I picked up my first Mossberg Partiot in 270 Win for a fun fact-finding project. Don't really own any other Mossberg rifles that I can think of, I'd have to dig through my safe to find out for sure, could be an old .22 in there I forgot about. But I have a close-kissing cousin, a Montgomery Wards 500 12 gauge shotgun that I bought sometime in the early 80's just after getting out of basic training. She's been good to me, reliable and accurate.
