Is the mag tube between a 590A1 and 835 interchangable?

I bent the mag tube on my 835 when it accidentally fell. And no one seems to have a replacement in stock.

A friend changed his 590A1 mag from a 6 shot capacity to a 9 shot tube. And he will give me his old tube, however I would like to make sure it will fit my 835 before going through the expense and trouble of having it shipped.

So does anyone know if his old magazine tube will work with my 835?

Can't see why not as long as they are both 6 shot capacity. The barrels interchange.
Simple measurement would tell you.

Length wise they are the same. What I'm worried about is the TPI on the ends. I don't know if Mossberg used the same TPI or not?

Same end caps, same threads. I really doubt Mossberg is going to put a different thread on the 835 receiver or vice versa with the 590.

Late to the game here, but yes the 590, 590A1, and 835 mag tubes are the same, threads, caps, and all...
