The comments on this is very entertaining. It also pisses me off to see such stupidity among them.....

No Chance In Hell.

She wants to be a Diane Feinstein.
I want to believe that but this crap is getting out of hand and too much is actually making it through

I am not entirely sure this is a really bad thing. Sure, there are some high population areas (read:the big city) where liberalism is popular, but overall, NC is still red. That said, maybe a little sharpening of agendas might not be such a negative. Outright firearm confiscation would qualify as a sharpening of agendas, in my opinion. This stuff needs to be brought out into the light. Take care. Tom Worthington

This is the response I got from my 60th district NC House Democratic Representative Cecil A Brockman when I contacted him about this.

"Thank you for writing into my office. I am in favor of gun control measures as I do believe they would cut down on instances of gun violence. Expanded background check, bans on high-capacity magazines and assault rifles, and a gun violence restraining order were three measures I proposed recently. I agree with you that doing nothing is not an option and the issue of gun violence cannot solely be blamed on mental health.
While I know we disagree on this subject, I believe that as my constituent you deserve to know where I stand on the issues. If my office can ever be of further assistance to you, feel free to reach out.
Sincerely,
Rep. Cecil Brockman"

I suppose most of you feel the same as me on this. If the entire congress passed this and if the President signed it then it would be time to establish a new government via liberty teeth.
Having said that there are some measures that could be taken to fix the problem.
#1 This would mean a sacrifice but let’s BAN gun violence in every single Hollywood production. How can we expect children whose brains are not fully developed to be fed a constant diet that depicts gun violence solving everything and not expect some to resort to guns when they are “facing devastating circumstances” in their little world.
We could also enact laws requiring only one entry point and two armed guards with metal detectors at that point. Security like Disney World, courthouses, bowl games, airports etc.
Whatever is done my guns will not be a part of it!
Did you know the motion picture producers say they can’t sell most movies without guns featured?
Boo hoo.

My response:
You are sadly correct, we do not agree. I appreciate your honesty in this matter, but I cannot support anyone for political office that does not believe in our constitution or bill or rights in their entirety. I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and an NRA member. My family, friends and I will work to see that your new replacement will be a supporter of the 2nd Amendment as well as someone who does not believe their rights can be taken away at the whim of political winds and lynch mom mass hysteria. It is the 2nd Amendment for a very strong reason that world history has proven was needed to secure a free democratic republic such as ours, not only back then, but into our future if freedom is to remain our liberty bell.

Nazis confiscate.
North Korea confiscates.
Almost every country you wouldn't want to visit for a holiday vacation has confiscated.
Castro confiscated.
Hitler confiscated.
Stalin and Lenin?
Confiscators Deluxe.
King George tried to confiscate.
King Salman does it today.
The Lost countries of the Commonwealth all confiscated.
South American dictators confiscate.
Putin? He doesn't have to bother because his predecessors did all the confiscation already.

So this lady's got to ask herself just what wall does she want her picture to hang on in history?

The Patriots or the confiscators?
