New 535 waterfowl turkey combo

Excited about the gun. Should I tear it down and do a complete clean before I take it out, I know that's the case with other guns.

welcome to the club from NY and congrats on your new Mossy. You get a chance post a pic or two.
A good cleaning is advised before shooting it. Mossberg has a tendency of leaving a lot of gunk from the factory.

Good to know old mossy. Dicks is holding it in the back for me. I'll post some pics after the weekend. Would you recommend a limb saver or is the recoil not as bad as they say

I put a Limbsaver on my 500A and I can tell you they really do work. I bought the slip on. Here's a link to a template for them.
