I always tell these kids at the grocery store, ringing up my groceries and bagging.
“You can have big oil wars, or you can have big forestry planting billions of trees and making paper. Paper bags rot away in the ocean overnight. Plastic bags will be choking seals and tuna for 100 years.”
Now I am no luddite when it comes to fossil fuels. But I’m afraid all the plastic making is running the price of gasoline up.
