Find a magazine called the Reader. Chocked full of entertainment and coupons. It's free too. National City is the poor part of San Diego so don't expect much there except some good eats if you like Mexican food. Down town has the Gas Lamp. The weekends are rockin with the finest college girls in the nation.
. Expensive. There's the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park (formally the San Diego Wild Animal Park) but with school getting out here in a couple of weeks, those places are going to be slammed.
Lets see. What else. If you are a CA native with your hunting license, we could probably hook you up with some Coyote, we have pig too but it is a HARD hunt. Hiking into the mountains five or six miles to get down to where their at. Everything else is pretty much closed right now do it being baby everything season, deer, turkey, quail. Babies everywhere. LOL.
Scrips Aquarium is worth a trip. The have Parasailing at Torrey Pines. Sky diving in Chula Vista. Not far from where you are. Man, your in one of the finest places in the country for entertainment. If you have your Passport, there's fun and great shopping to be had about 13 miles south in Mexico. And don't forget Balboa Park. Great Museums and just a nice place to walk around.
We have several Indian Casinos in the not to far. Barrona, Syquan, Viahas and Pala I think. (don't check my spelling on those
) Always a good way to spend some cash or just eat and drink on the cheap.
Discount Gun Mart has indoor Ranges and rent weapons if you feel the need to spend some of that PerDiem in that way. There's a couple here. One in San Diego and one in Santee.
