This acquisition has left more questions than answers, but it shoots fine. Found this shotgun online, at a store that deals in surplus, mainly from Europe. Bought this and a CZ BRNO ZH301 (in better shape) and although in thoroughly used shape, I'm pleased with it.
I've read on another forum that the #99 is a lower priced, plain receiver Model 101, but I cannot confirm at any gun part place or my LGS who looked through their 'gun bible'. Just isn't mentioned. So if anyone knows if this takes Win 101 parts, I was looking to buy an extractor.
