Tell Us About Your SCREEN NAME and AVATAR...

My screen name comes from the other big hobby, old cars. In particular street legal drag cars. Have had the '68 Dart (MoPar) for over 25 years and it currently has a 540 cube motor

Awesome to see another Mopar guy. I've never owned anything from the old muscle Mopar cars, but some day I will. I currently own a Dodge Caliber SRT-4 and prior to that a Neon SRT-4. So basically pocket rockets. I look forward to the new SRT Dart and most likely will be purchasing it.

Hello all from Northern Wisconsin. Jack 122 is my screen name for just about everything. I was a police officer for 29 years in Illinois and 122 was my badge number. I have been retired for 12 years but still am able to hit what I'm aiming at, most of the time. I am not a hunter, but I own 5 horses and where I live, bears, wolves and the rare cougar are always a potential threat. I recently purchased a used Mossberg 590a1 for hd and whatever else I deem necessary. Although I qualified with shotguns every month as a police officer I never owned one. I have been reading many posts and found them to be informative and I'm sure I will have a many questions and hopefully a few answers. I am looking forward to being an active member of this forum.

i've been speedyquad on everything for quite a few years, starting with the first atv forum that i joined. i gained the nickname chimmy in college, but that was taken and speedyquad was not.

atv's are my main love. i ride the sport kind. i like to go fast, but tread lightly. i don't think i have had a stock atv for more than an hour after i brought it home...
speedy gonzalez was one of my favorite cartoons and kind of fits with the name...sometimes i switch speedy's or even use one of my fourwheeler.

"Patch Delta" was my radio call sign while assigned to C/1/3, 3rd Marine Division, Infantry...Vietnam 1968-69.
"Patch" because I was a Navy Corpsman.
"Delta" phonetic alphabet the initial of my last name.

Nice handle Speedy.

I've always had more in common with Speedy's cousin, Slowpoke Rodrigues...

Welcome aboard Sir!

Thank you for your serving and for keeping us safe out there. Good luck with those critters out there. Had horses growin up, but the worst we had to deal with was stray/wild dogs. We're glad you joined up and are looking forward to seeing you around the board. Feel free to jump in on the conversation anywhere and let us know if you have any questions...

My screen name have relation with the name of Frederick Courteney Selous (1851-1917).A man with a large history, believe me.I knew a little of his history in 1998 during 3 months I was working in a large hunting ranch in Zimbabwe.
Also,in the last 70´s there was created in Rhodesia (the original name of Zimbabwe)an special group called"Selous Scouts"(Rhodesian counter-insurgency specialists). They adopted the name from F.C.Selous.
The avatar cames from a picture that I made to a little medal of Saint Hubert (Patron saint of hunters)that I wear when going to hunt.

Screen name is a username I've had since joining newsfeeds back in the late 80's. I've kind of stuck with it ever since. The avatar is simply one I've picked for now. It will evolve over time.
