And weird... I cant think of any real issues that would prevent the safety from moving. You may come across something when you break it down though.

Nice gun. I like the naked mossberg shotties. Especially the shorter 6 shot model. I've found the capacity sufficient for most if not all of my applications. Although, I'd like to have a 9 shot 590 with the speedfeed stock and a 6 shot side saddle. 19 rounds on the gun :twisted: .

Spec'ing out my M500 Breacher to 590A1....or close
Hey guys,
I wanted to run some ideas by you. I currently have the Mossberg 500 Persuader Cruiser with the heavy walled breacher barrel. I would like to spec this thing out to 590A1 standards as I got the gun for 40 bucks with gun part trades.
The gun currently has a Hogue 12" LOP stock (waiting on the MI single point sling loop adapter) and the factory heavy walled breacher barrel which from what I am reading is heavier than the standard 500 barrel but not quite as thick as the 590A1...I can live with that.
I added the Vang Comp +1 extension to make it a 6+1
What I am currently looking at doing is purchasing an aluminum trigger guard and sending it off to AimPro Tactical for tune up and then installing the factory 590A1 aluminum safety. And that should be it. I am really diggin the ST Leather Hogue shotshell cuff so I might run with that as opposed to a side saddle.
Other than that, that is what I have planned for this zombie killer. Any input or suggestions would be great!

If you’re looking to spend some money it sounds good. You will gain a touch of durability and no performance other than the trigger work. I like it the way it is, send out the trigger and buy some ammo. Sweet scatter gun.

JC, I like that alot man!
I especially like the Hogue stock, I have them on my Mossbergs too!
Heck, I dont expect the trigger you have will give you any problems... but go for it! It certainly wont hurt it at all!

sup guys i'm new to forum and thought i would drop some pics of my 590 mariner. its has a knoxx spec ops stock with ati drop spacer, hogue grips, the forend came with the stock so i thought i would try it out and to round it out i put a tactical safety on it also.
