I like it. Its a different feel to have a metal part on there. The look is really cool. As for the AFG....The AFG 1 was a really good suggestion. It feels like it truly belongs on there gun and is not too small. Overall i'm really happy.

Trying to decide on whether I want to replace the stock. I'm not sure I want a collapsible stock. What do you guys like?

If the factory stock isn't too long, I like Hogue, if it is too long, I like Hogue short length of pull stocks!

Thanks. It is a factory 590 14". I am in Kanada, so only legal to sell here unfortunately. The US no longer exports them here (under 18" length bbl).

We have much stricter gun laws here... but we can have 14", 10", 8.5" etc. length bbl shotguns and they are in the 'non-restricted' class. Just as long as OAL is 26", a factory made gun/bbl, and a pump-action. To buy a non-restricted here at present (since our federal govt recently abolished the Long Gun Registry) we go to the shop, show our license, and out the door. Here in the U.S., a $200 federal registration tax plus a six to eight month wait for approval is required for any shotgun barrel less than 18"...

Ya me I have my 590.

Brand new out the box have not unwrapped it yet.

Had the gun 5 minutes now.

Now 6 minutes.

After 30 minutes.

The other side 31 minutes.

It took close to 2 months to receive my 590 now I am a happy camper.
