What Would You Do?

I think all of the crap with the Russians is a diversion to chip away at the legitimacy of a Trump presidency. Have you noticed it's always described as an "election hack" not a "hack of the DNC". They make it sound like the Russians hit our voting booths. The media also does their best to ignore the inflammatory content of the emails as part of Hitlery's downfall. Also, they have yet to publicly put forth the evidence that it was the Russians. They ignore that this happened under the Obummer regime and that, as usual, he did nothing. Maybe if he had played hardball in the Ukraine they would have thought twice before any hack of the dems...if the Ruskies did it.
 
Right, but we're also supposed to believe hillarys private server was completely secure. But the nations internal emails from all manner of dnc staffers and officials were hacked.

Also, I forgot to mention, electors have requested all the security information surrounding "the Russian hack" influencing the election results before they cast their votes tomorrow.

I'll answer your question exactly as you put it w/o speculation of alternatives or probabilities.

At midnight of election eve I was still convinced that Hillary was going to win. I had the same "Oh Crap" feeling I had when Obama won in 2008, but knew that I could live thru the next 4 years of gloom.

They aren't going to get a briefing on this:

Voters in the Electoral College will not receive an intelligence briefing about Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election, according to a new report.
Sources told NPR the electors would not receive any national intelligence before they cast ballots this Monday.
Fifty-four of the 232 Democratic electors had signed a letter asking for a briefing before the Electoral College’s vote, according to reports.
The letter asked Director of National Intelligence James Clapper for information on what role, if any, Russia had in helping elect Donald Trump
“Separate from Mr. Trump’s own denials of Russian involvement in the election, the confirmed communication between Trump’s aides and those associated with the Russian election interference activity raise serious concerns that must be addressed before we cast our votes,” the message reads.

Why the hell should they be given a briefing to begin with? All that is required of them is to give a confirmation vote on their state's results. Doesn't need an intelligence briefing unless it is one the says "use your intelligence and vote the way your state voted."...

That is potentially part of the problem. Most electoral voters aren't legally required to vote as their state voted. They can vote for whomever they want.
 
I cannot think of a single time when an elected rep went against the vote of their electors.

At least not in the regard of electoral votes.
 
One did today and was immediately replaced with an alternate. Another voted for Sanders. Lol. Didn't know he was in the election...

And raising more ire amongst the Dems is that they now have to live with the "nuclear option" in the US Senate (51 votes vs 60 votes to confirm). The whining and crying is far from over... :(
 
Thing is. These people were convinced in their echo chambers that a republican president was a distant memory for generations to come.

That the new "progressive" standard was the model to be used for another decade plus.

When reality struck. They do what all petulant children do. Piss. Moan. Wreck their surroundings.

What's missing and coming quite soon, is the rod iron hand of the parent correcting that bad behavior.

Absolutely they believed this. I was told by more than one that Obama was just the beginning and we were in the midst of a progressive revolution. Bernie was their new hero that would take them to their new progressive utopia. Dinosaurs like me would change or be swept up. I warned them that a massive change to socialism wasn't going to be that easy. I think they learned how to be petulant from the current POTUS.
