What is wrong with the original one that came on the gun?
Nothing wrong with the factory safety. Your thumb can slip if you don't apply the right force at the right angle. There are just some better options out there. What is wrong with the original one that came on the gun?

Promag:
Sure of course, I prefer it this way however. Is it possible to reverse that safety?
I've seen quite a few people on here run it the other way.Not saying you should. Only asking if it were possible.
I can see it working quite well the way you have it.
Promag:
Love the Promag safety! Simple and more functional than the factory safety.

What you need is a "low" socket cap screw.Installed the ProMag safety switch, Unfortunately, the ProMag doesn't come with a new screw. Thinking that I would probably bugger up the original, I ordered a replacement from Amazon. The socket head was so thick that it protruded above the safety way too much. Ended up using the original screw
Likely they will not have a low height one, hence why I provided a link to one above. Standard height ones stick out of the safety too much.Any good hardware store will have a 6-32 socket head capscrew.
Try EBAY. You can get really good options for $2 to $3 bucks with free shipping. There is a great stainless steel option for mariner owners.Rats. $9.61 shipping kills the deal.
