Thanks guys. Wasn't bad, had to do the Champion as well, it turned out a little better IMO. I bought a couple of different jigs from Brownells years ago ( back when the only way you got a beavertail was on a custom made or you did it yourself) My 1st attempt was on an Auto Ordnance late 80's early 90's, always a little nerve racking but learned long time ago anything on a 1911 needs to be slow and in small increment's.LAZY EYED SNIPER said:Great lookin shooters batjac!
I learned how to shoot on my Pop's Combat Commander he's had since the early 70's. One helluva fine weapon. Nice work on those Springers. How much fitting did it take to get that beavertail in the A1?
