Well, the more I see of the painting skills here, the more likely I will stay with black :lol: I don't have a talent for that sort of thing and I don't want to make it worse :oops:

You all do nice work!
 
Ok being totally unskilled in the art of painitng I am going to ask you guys that know how do you get the look that you have? Do you tape off the whole gun and remove parts to be painted? How do you keep the oneyour painting form covering the previous color? I have an idea of what I want to do but really need help getting the layout figured out. Thanks.

Doesn't affect function at all. Just take it all apart, put the receiver/barrel assembly (the working portion of the rifle)

Then paint away. As for accessories, anything that mounts to a rail will pop right on.

Best thing to do is some google searching for firearms accessories.

Also as far as add ons and personalization, this forum has lots of info on the tac 22

That looks AWSOME as is!! I wouldn't change it at all. Your coworker is right the more you do the more chance at scewing up! However it looks like you really have some artistic / painting ability so I'd say the chances of you messing up are slim. If your not satisfied go for it. By the way I'm stealing your idea. I won't go exactly like yours but similar, mainly because I cant paint that well!! Your paint job is definitely one of the best I've seen.

Sorry didnt read enough post to see you already did it. And didn't realize that was way back in february oops!
 
Decided to give this a shot so I went with a satin black for the first layer. Gonna start the second later today, I'll keep posting updates.
